Like you, I am captivated whenever I meet people who are enthusiastic about their profession.

A courteous staff member at Ya Kun Kaya Mall of Asia demonstrated this by performing the conventional pulling and pouring technique with flair, which he claims "brings out the tea's body to perfection."

I was relieved that Ya Kun Kaya Toast personnel in the Mall of Asia didn't impose similarly rigorous rules.

The thought of anything other than soft-boiled eggs, toasted bread with kaya, and teh tarik made my mouth water. After looking through the menu, I decided that the Value Set Meal G would serve my craving best.

Unlike Kopi Roti, another renowned Singaporean Food Chain, where the eggs are seasoned for you, Ya Kun Kaya delivers plain eggs without any condiments, possibly to allow you to manage the pepper and sweet soy sauce. Yet, I prefer seasoned eggs over unseasoned ones.
After all, even this seemingly insignificant matter necessitates some level of knowledge. In any case, I appreciated how a simple pair of plain eggs were brought to life by adding some pepper and soy.

Ya Kun Kaya's Cheezy French Toast was, as promised, excellent and filling, especially when dipped in the restaurant's best-selling Kaya spread. Although my bread was tasty, a basic toast with vast slabs of butter is the most excellent complement to kaya.

Conversely, Bala was not in the mood for Singaporean breakfast and instead chose Ya Kun Kaya's newest Claypot Rice Meal: Sa Po Fan! When I scooped a sample, it tasted like our own adobo but with distinct spices that were noticeable in each bite.

I highly recommend looking at their menu before you go, whether having a brunch party or just wanting to satisfy your hunger. Before diving into a dining experience, knowing what you can order is always a good idea.
