Review: Why I'm In Love with Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel & Cleansing Gel Foam!

Tony Moly Floria Nutra-Energy Essence was a decent skin care product; however, I switched to something cheaper as I ran out.

Around 32 weeks ago, I was exposed to a reasonably priced aloe vera product by Nature Republic. My niece Kristina couldn't stop talking about it, and I couldn't put it down until I posted about it on Instagram, so it was hard to miss.

A few months ago, I went to Nature Republic and learned that many of their customers love the 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel and other products in the Aloe Vera line.

Finding the highly acclaimed moisturizer and a cleansing gel foam that advertises as a multitasking make-up remover was convenient. I was skeptical but tried the Aloe Vera cleanser and calming gel.

In the late 1970s, when I was a child, aloe vera, or sabila as it is well known, was a common household item. I had to cut enough thorny stems three times a week to satisfy our ritual of placing aloe sap on my dad's scalp to stimulate hair re-growth.

Suppose you, too, have developed a fondness for products made from the aloe plant. In that case, you may find that Nature Republic's cosmetic equivalent has a more muted aroma and less sticky consistency.

The Aloe Vera Soothing Gel lives up to its name for keeping my face hydrated. It helped my dry, irritated skin recover using a well-liked regional moisturizer. In less than a week of twice-daily Aloe Gel use, I noticed a significant reduction in the size and frequency of my acne breakouts. This incredible item brought me genuine happiness, and I still can't get over how amazing it is.

But, while I did expect it to be effective against acne, I wasn't expecting it to have any anti-aging properties because it didn't advertise itself as such. Yet, I have found that the tiny lines on my forehead have diminished and that my facial skin is more elastic.

Nothing seemed to work on my skin, and certainly nothing to lighten it. The blackheads on my nose and chin, as well as the little freckles, remained.

And yet, I still can't stop praising the product for its adaptability. It served double duty as a leave-on mask and face moisturizer. I couldn't believe how well the aloe gel worked as a hair gel, but it was true. Even only a teaspoon of the aloe gel was enough to significantly improve the straightness of my wet hair. However, a few drops of cuticle coat, such as Citre Shine or Vitress, did the trick and made my hair look much more glossy and shiny.

The 92% Aloe Vera Gel from Natural Republic, which retails for about Php 245, is well worth the price.

NATURE REPUBLIC CLEANSING GEL FOAM

I was skeptical when I was told this cleaning gel could also remove my make-up. Make-up lovers know that a regular cleanser won't do the trick when eliminating stubborn make-up, so they usually invest in a decent cleansing oil.

I had to try this washing gel because I was out of my go-to Kanebo Freshel Cleansing Oil.

Squeezing the gel from the tube revealed an unmistakable critical thickness. As I worked up a lather, the water released a clean, invigorating aroma, and the foam was impressively dense. Even though I've been informed repeatedly that the amount of foam a cleanser produces has no bearing on how well it cleans, I still prefer that it do so. Period.

The make-up base and foundation were a breeze to remove the first time I tried. Yes, my mascara and eyeliner did their jobs, but I couldn't stand the excruciating pain they caused my eyes.

Notwithstanding this flaw, I feel comfortable giving Nature Republic's Aloe Vera Cleaning Gel Foam 4 out of 5 notes because of the following reasons:
