After a series of happy misadventures during the long drive, we arrived at Canyon Cove Beach Club in Nasugbu around 1 PM.

No sooner had U and I talked to the staff than we found out that check-in time was at 2PM, translating to about an hour's worth of waiting time. I found it amusing that despite our hunger and exhaustion combined with the heat, the whole family still managed to smile and be nice to one another.:)

To while away the minutes, we walked around the place, trying to get some Facebook-worthy pics. When I saw the pool from afar, I couldn't help but exclaim how refreshing it looked!

Up close, the water sparkled and sashayed to the beat of human motion. I almost jumped right into it fully-clothed! :-)

When I looked above, I couldn't help but be captivated by the gorgeous view, which even Instagram, with its many excellent effects, cannot fully capture.

Alas! After the long wait, we finally managed to go inside our assigned rooms, much to our sheer delight!

The room looked so comfy and emitted a homey feel altogether. I guess Tutapel felt the same way because I didn't need to nudge him to smile and look excited for the camera.
I'll show you what our room looks like, so you'll know what to expect during your visit. Lezzgo!

My favorite part of the room was the bed beside the window. It was the best spot to view the gorgeous beach, stunning sunrises, and spectacular sunsets.

This was Tutapel's fave spot too!

The room also boasted a balcony, which we usually ran to to catch some fresh air and listen to the music being blasted from downstairs.

How about the bathroom? Well, here are just some of the photos that I managed to get:

At night, the pool was bustling with activity.

Bala and Tutapel are having a wonderful time at the pool!
...and visitors, like me, who began the swimming adventure with photo-ops. 😊

Canyon Cove Beach Club offers a complimentary breakfast buffet with every overnight stay. Sadly, the food choices were less diverse and less tasty than expected. On the second day, the food improved.

Another fun thing happened while we were there. My niece Erika recognized the restaurant manager (the one in red) as a former actor. We got a photo-op through the prodding of Momshie Leng, her mom.
The Luistros @ Canyon Cove
The best part of Canyon Cove was the beach! It was really something to behold! Clear blue skies painted over sparkling waters and almost pristine sand... What more can you ask for? Visitors also have the option to celebrate the magnificent view by kayaking for a fee.

White deck chairs surrounded the beach, which proved helpful for those of us not used to walking or running on sand. However, the chairs were almost always occupied due to the chair-visitor ratio.

Although the sand wasn't as pristine white as Boracay's, Canyon Cove's still fared quite well, if you ask me. Only around that time did I realize how Tutapel loved the sand and the beach! And of course, if he's happy, I'm delighted.
Here's my happy pose! 😍
