Review: Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub

I was first introduced to this product while reading various beauty blogs on the net. It garnered some excellent reviews, so I was excited to try it. When I saw it at Watson's one day, I didn't think twice about purchasing it.

As it turned out, it is a good skin exfoliator when applied on dry skin. Package info is clear on this. If you decide to break this rule, just like I did the first time, the scrub will melt in your hands. A waste of perfect money and time.

Every tub of Lulur contains Vitamin E and Green Tea extract, Squalene, and Olive Oil to eliminate flaky skin minus the dryness.

Another thing is, The Body Shop Sugar Scrubs feel much oilier because the grains are infused with botanical oils. As far as affordability is concerned, Lulur is much cheaper, around Php 750. But if you prefer sugar scrubs, then The Body Shop might have something for you.

Unlike Lulur, Zen Zest is versatile. You can apply the scrub on dry or wet skin, making it a perfect foot scrub too! Although Zen Zest is a little more expensive than Lulur by around Php100, it smells better and offers larger granules that make it more effective than Lulur.

If you are looking for a body scrub on a budget, Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub is the best choice. It is sold at around Php 130 at all Watson's stores nationwide.
